My best friends mom works in the building right next door with the shared parking lot and we were parking to see her when we spotted all the police. Got out of there pretty quick after we saw police officers surrounding the building with guns and the swat van rolling in Things are a lot worse elsewhere. We also have 400 million people. I am sure many more died from cancer today because they smoked 2 packs a day for the last 40 years. More people probably died in cars today too. I'm really not worried. Statistically, it is still extremely uncommon to be shot to death randomly.As I know this is gonna devolve in firearms control Im just gonna ask what measures would have prevented this sensless act of violence other than officers their or armed individuals at the location to stop him? If this man owned a gun legally would a mental health screening or Universal backround checks or assualt weapons ban have stopped him or caught him before this happened?
