And if you are too underprivileged to be in a position to do any
of that, or if you can't read, or don't have the internet, then you should be
upset. But there's a lot of people out there just like you who could form an
alliance and help each other succeed. There's free classes, free child care,
all sorts of things.But none of that will happen if we are all hiding in our
home offices on the computer. We will just get more and more comfortable as the
wealthy strip more and more away from the working class.I have worked from home for about 5 years now,
so I am I admit a bit biased. I am also concerned that a lot of manufacturing
jobs are going to be automated in at least the next 50 years, if not the next
25.I do agree with you on community, however I think that community can be
forged through the neighborhood. I moved half way across the world three years
ago (and working online sure helped with that) and I had to make friends all
over again.
