I am also concerned that a lot of manufacturing jobs are going to be automated in at least the next 50 years, if not the next 25.I do agree with you on community, however I think that community can be forged through the neighborhood. I moved half way across the world three years ago (and working online sure helped with that) and I had to make friends all over again.
